Dentare may integrate with Google services using Google OAuth authentication and Google API Services to provide secure login and calendar synchronization features.
a) Google User Data We Access & Scopes Requested
When you connect your Google account, Dentare requests the following permissions (OAuth scopes):
- Basic profile & email (openid, email, profile) β your name and email address, used for account authentication.
- Google Calendar read/write (googleapis.com/auth/calendar) β to create, update, and delete appointment events in your Google Calendar on your behalf.
- Google Calendar list (googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist) β to let you choose which calendar Dentare syncs appointments to.
We also request offline access, which allows Dentare to synchronize calendar events on your behalf even when you are not actively using the application. A refresh token is stored securely to maintain this connection until you revoke it.

- Authenticate users securely via Google Sign-In
- Synchronize appointments between Dentare and Google Calendar
- Display calendar availability within the Dentare platform
- Enable automated booking confirmations and reminders
Google user data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising purposes. We request only the minimum scopes necessary to provide the requested functionality.

Google user data is stored securely within Dentare's infrastructure and retained only as long as necessary to provide the relevant services. Users may revoke access at any time through their Google account settings or by disconnecting their Google account within the Dentare platform.
